-Do you feel like you totally missed the class on how to do your makeup?

-Is life on Zoom making you realize you want to learn more about how to do your own makeup.

-Are you a creator who is finding themselves needing to look good on camera and can't always hire an artist to do your makeup?

-Are you still wearing the 2 products you used to use in high school?

Then welcome, you are in the right place and this is the beauty group for you.

During our time together there are no stupid questions. This will be a safe and fun and playful space where we talk about adornment and techniques and tips.

The group will be kept small and informal and you will be able to get all of your questions answered.

You will leave class with understanding:

-How clean/natural beauty plays a role in your beauty routine.

-Makeup techniques for doing a 5 minute quick makeup look, complete with ways to amp it up for a night on the town.

-A better understanding of which makeup tools and brushes you need and how to care for them.

We will learn together in community.

This 2 part workshop includes:

-Two 1 hour sessions on June 14th 8:15pm and June 21st 8:15pm.

-A 1:1 private 30 min consult with Jessa to match you for the products and colors that you might want to purchase.

About Jessa:

Jessa Blades is a celebrity makeup artist, natural beauty authority, wellness expert and herbalist based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles. She is deeply passionate about sharing simple and gentle ways to heal and nurture the body and skin while still looking fabulous.

Inspired by the idea of true healing and wellness, Jessa made the switch to natural, non-toxic beauty products in 2008 and founded her company, Blades Natural Beauty, the same year. Her goal then and now is to provide sustainable beauty routines, pure products, and expert advice for anyone looking to detox their medicine cabinet and heal—instead of hide—their imbalances.

When she’s not on set, Jessa uses her fifteen years of experience to lead private lessons and group workshops on beautifying from the inside out. She teaches women how to apply makeup, choose natural and healing products, and incorporate herbs and food based medicine into their lives to heal their skin. As a teacher and a makeup artist, Jessa's mission is to bring the message of self-care and empowerment into the conversation around beauty and healing.

Many of Jessa’s favorite natural beauty and wellness products, including her signature line of skincare and her hand-blended herbal teas, are available in her online Self-Care Supply Store and Apothecary.

Jessa has studied with a group of wise and powerful teachers, including Rosemary Gladstar, Peeka Trenkle, Phyllis Light, Hilary Garivaltis, and Nancy Phillips. As well as studied Herbalism, Ayurveda, Facial Reflexology, and Functional Nutrition at: The Open Center and Kripalu, Arbor Vitae, Sage Mountain, and The International School of Multireflexology-Dien Chan.

Jessa has been featured as one of Glamour magazine’s “70 Amazing Eco-Heroes” and chosen as TreeHugger's "Best Green Makeup Artist." She has contributed to Vogue, The New York Times, Mind Body Green, Into the Gloss, Style.com, Well and Good, Natural Health, Organic Spa, and appeared on The Today Show. Most recently Jessa was chosen to be on the Clean Beauty Council with Credo Beauty, the first of its kind.

Philosophy:

I help women take better care of themselves through clean beauty products, rituals, herbs, and food as medicine. I am passionate about developing a new culture of beauty. One that is empowering, holistic, connected to nature, fun, beautiful, and luscious.
